How the seats are placed

Every seat is on the outside of one rectangle. The 11 students are split across the four sides, and the table fills the middle so there is no inner row and no back corner.

For 11 students, the plan uses 5 rows of seats, and the fullest row seats 3 and the shortest seats 1. The editable grid is 7 cells wide and 7 cells tall, counting the front of the room.

A single table makes the class one meeting. Everyone can see everyone, materials sit in the middle, and there is no back row to disappear into. It stops working when the table gets so long that the ends cannot hear each other.
