Seating plans and student names

Desks, labels, and student names you type or import stay in this browser (local storage). They are not sent to our server when you edit a plan. Exporting a PNG or JSON file downloads that file to your device. Clearing the site data for this browser deletes the saved plan.

Do not send student names through the contact form. We do not need them, and that form is the one place a message leaves your browser.

What this site stores on your device

• The current seating plan, so a refresh does not wipe your work.
• Whether you have dismissed the welcome screen.
• Your dark mode choice.

Google Analytics

Pages load Google Analytics (measurement ID G-VHQE9Q16C4). Google may set cookies and receive your IP address, browser, and the pages you open, under Google’s own terms. Analytics is not used to store seating plans or student names. You can block it with your browser’s tracking controls.

Contact form

If you submit the contact form, the name, email, and message you typed are delivered to us through Netlify Forms, which hosts this site. That submission is kept so we can reply. It is not used for advertising.
