Seminar Circle seating plan for 8 students
Seats around an open middle, with nothing but floor between students. This version is built for a class of 8.
How the seats are placed
Seats run around the edge and the middle is floor, not furniture, with a plant where a speaker can stand. Students face inward, so this is a circle rather than an audience.
For 8 students, the plan uses 3 rows of seats, and the fullest row seats 3 and the shortest seats 2. The editable grid is 5 cells wide and 5 cells tall, counting the front of the room.
Unlike a conference table, the middle is empty. A speaker, a text, or a demonstration can occupy the center, and students face inward. It is the right shape when the object of attention moves, and the wrong shape when everyone needs a desk full of materials.
