Chevron Rows seating plan for 22 students
Forward-facing rows, staggered so a neighbor’s desk is not directly beside yours. This version is built for a class of 22.
How the seats are placed
Alternate rows are shifted by one cell, and there is a gap between columns. Students still face the screen. The stagger puts a neighbor slightly ahead or behind instead of directly at their elbow.
For 22 students, the plan uses 4 rows of seats, and the fullest row seats 6 and the shortest seats 4. The editable grid is 14 cells wide and 13 cells tall, counting the front of the room.
A chevron keeps the board as the focus but shifts each row by a seat. Students still look forward, and the person beside them is a little behind or ahead, which cuts down side conversations and makes it harder to read a neighbor’s page.
