Lab Benches seating plan for 32 students
Pairs facing each other across a bench, the standard science-lab seat. This version is built for a class of 32.
How the seats are placed
Two students sit on each side of a bench, facing each other across the work surface. Benches are separated by a walking gap so you can reach a group without cutting through the next one.
For 32 students, the plan uses 6 rows of seats, and the fullest row seats 6 and the shortest seats 4. The editable grid is 12 cells wide and 15 cells tall, counting the front of the room. This seats the class as 8 full benches of 4. Empty columns break the seating up (4 gap columns inside the student block).
Two students on each side of a bench can share a tray, a microscope, or a text and still have a partner across from them. The bench is the work surface, not an extra desk. Leave real gaps between benches or the room becomes one long table.
