Desks spaced along the walls, leaving the middle of the room as open floor. This version is built for a class of 24.
How the seats are placed
Desks are spaced along the walls rather than packed into rows. The middle of this 11 by 11 grid is empty floor for a demonstration, a station, or a small group you pull in.
For 24 students, the plan uses 9 rows of seats, and the fullest row seats 7 and the shortest seats 1. The editable grid is 11 cells wide and 11 cells tall, counting the front of the room.
Clearing the center gives you a stage, a lab floor, or a place to pull a small group without moving everyone. Students along the walls can still see a demonstration if you stand in the middle. It is a poor fit when the board on one wall is the only thing that matters, because half the class is sideways to it.
