How the seats are placed
The front of the grid is an empty stage (4 open rows after the screen). The audience then sits in 5 rows with a center aisle, all facing the front.
For 36 students, the plan uses 5 rows of seats, and the fullest row seats 8 and the shortest seats 4. The editable grid is 11 cells wide and 12 cells tall, counting the front of the room. A center aisle runs through the student block. There are 4 open rows between the front of the room and the first student.
Leave the front of the room empty when students, guests, or a panel will stand there. The audience sits in rows with a center aisle, far enough back that a presenter can move without standing in someone’s lap. Pull the first row forward in the planner if your room is shallow.
