How the seats are placed
Each desk has an empty cell on the side so neighbors are not shoulder to shoulder. A wider gap down the middle is the aisle you walk during a test. The fullest row seats 8.
For 26 students, the plan uses 4 rows of seats, and the fullest row seats 8 and the shortest seats 2. The editable grid is 18 cells wide and 10 cells tall, counting the front of the room.
A gap between desks is the simplest way to stop wandering eyes. Students still face the front, but they cannot read a neighbor’s paper by leaning. Use it for quizzes, exams, and any task you will grade as individual work.
